Homeward Bound Card

Happy late St. Patrick's Day everyone!

Ms. March's Challenge is up on the Bombshell Stamps Blog today.  Her challenge is to use 3 Bombshell Stamps on your project.  I used the Full Sail Ship and Homeward Bound Banner stamps from the Homeward Bound Stamp Set, and a Wave stamp from the Koi Tattoo Stamp Set.

 

I stamped the ship onto white cardstock in Tsukineko Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black and colored it in with Copic Markers. The banner was stamped onto paper with the same ink. For the waves, I used Distress Ink in Salty Ocean on Ranger Gloss Paper, stamped the wave in the same ink and fussy cut out each wave.  The papers I used are from the Nautical Collection by Moxxie which I purchased at A Cherry On Top. 

 



To create this card, I used a sketch (sketch #1) from one of the Simon Says Stamp Challenges on their blog.  I am also linking this card up to the Simon Says Stamp and Show Blog since their water challenge this week also inspired this card.

Thanks Card - Craftwell DT Project

Hi Everyone!

 

I love how versatile Lawn Fawn's Blissful Botanicals Stamp Set and Lawn Cuts are (did I mention yet that they are cute too?!). I cut out the long leaf die in my eBosser to create a border on this thank you card.

 

Supplies:

eBosser by Craftwell and magnetic shim

Pink Lemonade Collection Kit by Lawn Fawn

dies - Blissful Botanical Lawn Cuts by Lawn Fawn

stamps - Blissful Botanical Stamp Set by Lawn Fawn

white cardstock

ink - Tsukienko Memento in Tuxedo Black; Copic Markers; Colorbox by Clearsnap (light green)

scoring tool

paper trimmer; scissors

adhesive and pop dots

 

First I cut a piece of the pink flower cardstock to 11 1/2" x 5" and scored it down the middle (at 5 3/4") to make the card base. Then I cut a 3 1/2" x 4 1/2" rectangle in yellow cardstock. Next, using my eBosser and the long leaf and smaller leaf thin metal dies, I cut out the leaves in white cardstock (4 long leaf, 2 each of the smaller leaves). I inked the 4 long leaf die cuts with 2 small flower stamps in green ink and then lightly rubbed the same color green ink all over the die cut. I attached all 4 leaves to the back of the yellow cardstock to create a border. Next, I colored in the smaller leaf die cuts with Copic Markers and attached them to the corners of the yellow cardstock. I then stamped flowers in black ink around the edges and a thanks sentiment on the bottom (see pic for placement) and adhered this to the card base. I fussy cut out a pink mason jar from one of the cardstock papers from the Pink Lemonade Collection, stamped flowers in the inside and colored with Copic Markers. Then I attached this to the front of the card with a pop dot.

Love You Card - Craftwell DT Project

This week I created a card using Lawn Fawn's Blissful Botanicals Lawn Cuts (dies) and Stamp Set, and their beautiful collection kit, Daphne's Closet. I used the magnetic shim in my eBosser and it made cutting cardstock with the thin metal dies super easy and fast.

Sizzix - Circle Framelits Dies

Ink - Tsukineko Memento in Tuxedo Black

White Cardstock

Purple Ric Rac

Adhesive

Pop Dots

Paper Trimmer / Scorer

 

I scored a 7 1/2" x 11" piece of white cardstock in the middle to create my card base. Then using a paper trimmer I trimmed the blue cardstock from Daphne's Closet Collection to 5" x 7". Using my eBosser with magnetic shim, I cut out a 2 1/2" circle (Sizzix Die), long leaf (Lawn Fawn die), and small leaves (Lawn Fawn die), out of white cardstock. For the leaves, I stamped the coordinating stamps onto the white diecut in Tsukineko Memento Ink and colored with Copic Markers. For the circle, I repeatedly stamped a Lawn Fawn Flower stamp onto the cardstock and also colored with Copic Markers. I adhered the long leaf onto the left hand side of the blue rectangle and attached the flower circle on top with pop dots. Then I attached the 'Love You' sticker from the collection kit on top with a pop dot. I stamped 3 flower stems and flower tops onto the bottom right of the blue cardstock and colored with Copic Markers. Then I attached the remaining leaves with adhesive. I adhered purple ric rac to the top and bottom of the blue cardstock and attached it with pop dots onto the white card base.

Smile! Card - Craftwell DT Project

Hi Everyone!

This month's sponsor for Craftwell is Lawn Fawn, and I couldn't be more excited to work with their gorgeous collection kits and their cute stamps and dies! I made this cute card with the Blissful Botanical Stamp Set and their coordinating die, Blissful Botanical Lawn Cuts. Their dies cut wonderfully and clean in the eBosser, as does their cardstock.

I trimmed a piece of the green polka dot cardstock from the Pink Lemonade Collection Kit down and scored it in the middle to make the base for my card. I stamped some of the flowers stamps, the smile sentiment and butterfly stamps on a piece of white cardstock in Tsukineko Memento Ink and colored them in with Copic Markers. Then I adhered the stamped cardstock to a piece of green and yellow plaid cardstock using pop dots, and then adhered it to the green polka dot card. Using the Blissful Botanicals dies in the eBosser, I die cut the long leaf and leaves out of the green polka dot cardstock, and stamped the corresponding stamps onto the die cuts. I adhered them to the front of the card. I also stamped an extra flower and butterfly onto white cardstock, colored them in, and fussy cut them out of the paper with scissors and used pop dots to adhere them to the card.

For the inside of the card, I cut a piece of white cardstock and embossed it in the eBosser with an embossing folder. Then I applied light green ink onto the embossed cardstock, heat set it with an embossing powder heat gun and adhered it to the inside of the card. I cut an oval out of the green polka dot cardstock with a Sizzix Framelits Die in the eBosser and using Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive, glued it onto the embossed cardstock. Then I attached the label sticker from the Pink Lemonade Collection Kit to the middle.

Luck and Fate

Is it Monday already?!

Come join Bombshell Stamps for Muse Monday!  Every Monday showcases a stamp set, and for the month of March it's the Love and Luck Stamp Set.  This is one of the first Bombshell Stamps sets that I purchased.  It's a very versatile set that includes 2 swallows, roses, barbed wire, 2 banners, and 4 mini icon stamps. 

Using this set, I made a one-sided card with Dear Lizzy papers and stickers to create a vintage-ish story card.

I also made a mini card showcasing only the Love and Luck Set with a Distress Ink and glimmer mist background.
