Mother's Day Pop-Up Card

Happy Tuesday! 


Have you made a card yet for Mother's Day?  Today, I have an easy to make Pop-Up card tutorial. I made mine for Mother's Day, but feel free to change yours up! This can easily become a Birthday card, Get Well Soon, or Thinking of You card just by changing your sentiment on the front.

all svg files used are from SVG Cuts -
-Pansy from 3D Flowers Part 1 - cut all pieces at 2 inches wide (you will need 5 pansies)
-Happy Mother's Day Caption freebie from their blog -  cut all pieces at 4.5 inches wide
-A6 Circle Premium Pop Up Card from Premium Pop-Up Cards
-Cameo top 1 from Kate's Silhouettes - cut at 1.75 inches wide


First, with your eCraft cut out the A6 Circle Premium Pop-Up Card pieces from Premium Pop-Up Cards SVG Kit.  I used SCAL3 so the card would import at the size it is supposed to be.  The finished card should be 4.5 inches by 6.25 inches.  You will not need the flourish and strip pieces from the A6 card so you don't need to cut them out. Score the card and inside piece in half.  Adhere your outside and inside pop up piece together and also the circles for the pop up circle.  I inked the edges of my pieces with a brown ink to give it a little more of a vintage feel.


Cut out Cameo top 1 from Kate's Silhouettes Collection at 1.75 inches wide and adhere to the middle of the inside pop up circle. Glue your assembled cameo circle to the front of the bend in the inside of the card if you haven't done this in the previous step.


With your eCraft cut out the Happy Mother's Day Caption freebie from SVG Cuts blog. All pieces should be cut at 4.5 inches wide.  Ink edges and adhere together.  Use pop dots underneath to adhere this banner caption toward the middle/top left hand side of the card.  I didn't center the caption in the middle of the card but rather off toward the top side to make room for flowers on the bottom right. (see picture).


Next, cut out 5 pansies (and their leaves) from 3D Flowers Part I.  All pieces should be sized to 2 inches wide.  Adhere your flowers together and add the face markings with your marker.  Glue one pansy to the top left of the front of the card and 3 of them on the bottom right.  Take your last pansy and glue it on the bottom right of the inside of your card.


And your card is now complete!  An easy, pretty card that can be interchanged with different sentiments.
