Happy Wednesday and welcome to the Bombshell Stamps Hump Day Hop!
You should have arrived here from Alison's awesome blog. If not, please start at the beginning at the Bombshell Stamps Blog so you don't miss any great projects! Alison, our challenge captain, chose a color challenge this month as the theme. It's called Cherry Palette by Design Seeds.
I really like the color palette but I had a hard time matching the colors with the papers I have. I tried my best to match them as closely as possible. I also tried to photograph the colors as best as I could, but unfortunately this green is what I ended up with. In real life, this green is not really bright at all. It's more of a light spring green. Anyway, I used the Retro Devil and Sinner text stamp from the Cherry Bomb Stamp Set. I stamped both on white cardstock in Chianti colorbox mini ink. The green strips were embossed with a Cuttlebug Dominoes embossing folder in my Cuttlebug. The sinner text box, the retro devil, and the blue/red rectangle are all adhered onto the card with pop dots.
I used the Bombshell Stamps December 2009 Sketch as inspiration for this card. All of the Bombshell Stamps past sketches are right on the Bombshell Blog under the tab called Sketches! So, if you ever need some inspiration, take a look over there.
Thanks for stopping by and hopping with us! Your next stop is over to Kelli's Blog to see what rad project she has come up with!
Happy Hoppin,
- Kim

Very cool, Kim! I love that you used such an old Bombshell Sketch! I also really like your use of pop dots. Great job!
ReplyDeleteFab use of colour- love the clean and simple look!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great card. I love that devil. He always makes me smile.
ReplyDeleteLove the colored ink for the devil and the green strips. My colors never photograph right, but when I "auto smart fix" them they look worse... So a lot of times I am just like - you should see this in real life!!!!
