Happy 4th of July!!!!
I made these 4th of July snack boxes with my eCraft to use at my backyard bbq. These are great for popcorn, pretzles or chips and were super easy to make!
Supplies
-eCraft
-eCraft Shop Pro
- SVG Cuts Summer Blockbuster SVG Kit (popcorn box sides and bottom)
-cardstock and stickers- Echo Park Paper -Fourth of July Mini Theme
-white ribbon
-Xyron Mega Runner
-Pop Dots
-scissors
How To:
With my eCraft I cut out the popcorn box sides and bottom at the recommended sizes from the Summer Blockbuster SVG Kit by SVG Cuts. I assembled the boxes together using my Xyron Mega Runner.
I wrapped some white ribbon around the boxes (and used a little bit of adhesive in one spot to hold it on the box).
To decorate the boxes, I used the stickers from the mini kit. The celebrate with the fire cracker was cut out of one of the pieces of cardstock. Some of the stickers have pop dots underneath for dimension.
When using pop dots underneath stickers, I usually first stick the sticker onto cardstock and then cut around the sticker with my scissors. (You can leave a border around the sticker if you wish, like I did here. ) Then I used a pop dot underneath and attached it to the box.
I used a plastic ziplock bag inside the boxes to hold the popcorn since I wasn't sure if the paper or glue was food safe. Bonus! This way the boxes also don't get greasy or stained on the inside in case you'd like to keep them for next year. Another use for these boxes could be as a center piece with artificial flowers in them for your 4th of July bbq!
Have a Happy 4th of July!!
