The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays to decorate and make crafts for. Using Glimpses by Signify Pink's line "Pages of Honor", I created a fun, patriotic decoration for my kitchen table.
Supplies:
-eCraft
-SCAL3
-Glimpses by Signify Pink's "Pages of Honor" - Pages of Honor Dog Tag Embellishments, Set of 4; Pages of Honor Scrapbooking Kit; Pages of Honor 6x6 Paper Pad
-SVG Cuts - Made In The USA SVG Kit (children silhouette); Christmas Gift Boxes and Bags (Star Bag)
-Xyron Mega Runner
-Pop Dots
-Black Cardstock
First I cut out the Star Bag from SVG Cuts "Christmas Gift Bags and Boxes SVG Kit" at 11.3 inches wide and the Star (2 of them) at 11.3 inches wide. I scored the bag liner and then assembled the Star Bag using my Xyron Mega Runner to adhere everything together.
Next, from the SVG Cuts Kit "Made In The USA" I cut out the children silhouettes and elements (7 inches wide) from the Happy 4th Card with my eCraft and adhered all of the pieces together. I then adhered the assembled silhouettes to the left hand side of the star with some Pop Dots. I used the 3 dog tag embellishments (Patriotic, Proud, Brave) on the right hand side of this card. The patriotic dog tag is tied to the handle and the proud and brave dog tags are adhered underneath it.
And there you have it, a simply easy patriotic decor piece for your table! This bag can be filled with anything, I put some red, white, and blue flowers in it that I got at Michael's last year.
I hope you enjoyed this project! If you have any questions please leave a comment below or in the Craftwell forum.
