Don't you hate when you break a vase?! - eCraft DT Tuesday

Hi Everyone!

I am officially in Halloween Craftin' mode! I love Halloween!!! So it's no surprise it's my favorite holiday to craft and decorate for.

Last year, I picked up some faux black roses from the local dollar store to use for a Halloween decoration. Unfortunately, the vase that was holding them fell onto the floor of the attic earlier this year and broke into pieces. So I thought, 'hey! why not make a cute vase for them with my eCraft?!'

Supplies:
-eCraft
-SCAL3
-WorldWin Papers: 12x12 Copper Ore Petallics Cardstock, Black and white Cardstock
-Apothecary Jar Pretty Packaging Template SVG from My Time Made Easy
-Bracket 1 from Gothic Flourishes Collection by SVG Cuts
-Crinkle Ribbon
-4 purple rhinestones
-Happy Halloween Stamp -Martha Stewart Stamp and Ink Set with Tags - Carnival
-Ink: Ranger Archival Ink in Black
-Adhesive: Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive; Double sided tape; pop dots

How To:
First cut out the bottom base of the Apothecary Jar Template in Copper Ore Petallics Cardstock with your eCraft. (This Cardstock cuts great in the eCraft and it really makes the vase sturdy.) Adhere together per directions with Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive.  Next with your eCraft cut out the bottom top pieces in black (these are the decorative pieces) and adhere to the copper bottom.

To make the tag:  In SCAL3, import bracket 1 from SVG Cuts Gothic Flourishes Collection at 2.5 inch width. Add a shadow layer of 1.5 and then copy and paste the orignal tag into a new tab and cut out in Copper Ore Petallics Cardstock with eCraft. On the tab with the shadow layer, click select all and hit break apart. Delete inside rectangle. Cut out now solid shadow layer in white.

Adhere the copper inside bracket on top of the white bracket and stamp the Happy Halloween stamp in black ink in the middle of the white inside and glue small purple rhinestones to the corners. See picture.   Adhere the tag to the middle of the vase with a pop dot.

Tie black crinkle ribbon around the top neck of the vase and tie a bow in the front. I used some small pieces of double sided tape underneath to hold the ribbon in place. Trim the ends to your liking.

I added my faux black roses inside and now this cute Halloween vase is ready to decorate my table.
