Craftwell Bunny Blog Hop

Hi Everyone!

Welcome to the Craftwell Bunny Blog Hop!

I'm so excited to be a part of the spring blog hop and so glad you will be hopping along with us today.  So please, grab a cup of coffee or tea, sit down, relax and enjoy the hop!  Oh and get ready for some really amazing projects and some fun (and maybe even a giveaway! ;) )

Originally, I had a totally different project done and ready for the hop.  But then I saw the new Sweet Peeps Collection by Sheri McCulley over at Lettering Delights and thought these cute little peeps would be perfect for a Bunny Blog Hop!  With my eCraft at my side, this project was fast and easy to cut out and assemble.

How adorable are those bunnies, butterflies, and chick?!

The boxes are from the One-Piece Boxes SVG Kit by SVGCuts.  The pink box is box 3 and the blue box is box 1 from the kit.  I cut the box and accent pieces at the kit's regular size and assembled them together.

The banners on the front are made from the Pennants SVG's at Lettering Delights.  The letters are stickers from We R Memory Keepers Cotton Tail Scrapbook Pad. The pennants are folded over twine and I added a bow to both ends.

Everything pictured above is from the Sweet Peeps Cut It's Collection by Sheri McCulley at Lettering Delights

Both of these bunnies were cut out at 3 1/2 inches high.  The balloon is actually attached to the bunny in the svg, so after cutting it out with my eCraft, I cut off the balloon tie with my scissors and adhered a piece of twine wrapped wire on the back of the bunny and balloon.

Everything in the above picture is also from Sweet Peeps, except for the kite which is a free svg at SVGCuts! The kite has wire attached to the back and the end of it is placed underneath the flower so the kite would appear to be flying in air.  I also added twine to the bottom of the kite tail and attached it to the bunny's wrist.

I sized the bunny and chick-a-dee to 3 1/2 inches high also, so it would be the same as the other box.  Both boxes have one flower on top from Sweet Peeps  (the file has 3 flowers in one svg but I just ungrouped all of them and deleted the other two flowers in SCAL3.  This way, I only cut out what I needed.)  I added pop-dots underneath each flower layer to give it some dimension.  I re-sized the butterflies and caterpillars smaller so they wouldn't be too large on the boxes.

Hope you liked my Spring Bunny (and Chick-a-dee) boxes!

Enjoy the rest of the hop!

St. Paddy's Day Luck Gift Bag

This post would have been up earlier, but I was watching the Craftwell eCraft on HSN this morning! For those of you who have been to my blog before know that I use my eCraft for pretty much all of my projects.  So if you are interested in seeing more of what this machine can do, the eCraft will be on HSN again today at 3pm and 7pm Eastern time today.  Check it out!

SVG Cuts has up a brand new kit (which I love) called Playful Parlour.  The kit is gorgeous as is, but since I like to change things up a bit, I made the Playful Gift Bag into a St. Paddy's Day Luck Gift Bag.

St. Paddy's Day Luck Gift Bag

The above bow is made with regular baker's twine which I purchased at the Christmas Tree Shop.

I love these stamps by Unity! I also used the celtic knot stamp for the below background.

Aren't these tiles amazing?!  I love how realistic they look.
For the letters and numbers, I used Arial bold and just made them the same size as the word Play and the numbers that were already in the kit and cut them with my eCraft.

Thanks for checking out my gift bag!  Hope you are having a great day!

Welcome Spring Blog Hop

Hey everyone! For those of you who haven't been here before, I'm Kim and you are at my blog, Crafty Pink Anchor.  Thanks for hopping with us in the Welcome Spring Blog Hop by SVG Attic!  You should have arrived here from Bunny's Blog - if not, check the hop list towards the end of the post and please start at the SVG Attic blog.  Hope you are all having fun looking at all the great projects made from SVG Attic's new collection, Welcome Spring!!!

Below is my version of the watering can and card.  And yes, of course I used my handy dandy eCraft (Who has yet to be named. I've heard most people have named theirs.) to cut these out!
I love butterflies, so of course I had to use them in my project!  Also, these flowers are standing up because they are attached to bendy straws by the heart brad in the center. (Please, see the end of this post if you are looking for supplies I used in this project.)

Everything that I used in my project is from the Welcome Spring Collection.
Here's a picture of everything included in it, if you haven't seen it before!

Thanks so much for hopping over to my page!  Your next stop on the blog hop is over to Beth's blog (http://mytimetoplay.blogspot.com/) to see what gorgeous project she has created. Have fun!

Celtic Decorative Tray

I love celebrating St. Patrick's Day! I guess it's fitting, since I'm Irish.  It's a day of good food, good friends, and good times.  Okay, and maybe a Guinness or two...  ;-)

Today I have a decorative tray to share with you!  It's an altered wooden tray and I used my eCraft cutting machine and two kits from SVG Cuts to make this too!  I really just wanted a fun and different decoration for my mantle so, I won't be using this as a tray (lol, what it's really intended for).

The inside of the wooden tray is about 13 inches long by 9 1/2 inches tall.  The inside depth is about 1 1/2 inches.

I sanded the tray and painted it with white acrylic paint.  I cut out the Celtic Knots and Claddagh with my eCraft. Both came from kits by SVGCuts.  Each Celtic Knot is 2 inches wide and the claddagh is about 7 inches wide.  I adhered all my paper piecings together with Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive and after they dried, used mod podge to adhere them to the inside of the tray.

This project was easy to make and I love how it turned out!  I suppose I could always get a piece of clear acrylic cut to the inside dimensions and pop it in and actually use this as a tray (probably not for storing hot items or liquid on it though), but for now it looks great as a mantle decoration!

Thanks for looking!
