Skull and Crossbones Bottle Cap Necklace

Hey All! Happy Monday!

I have been trying to tackle my pile of unfinished jewelry and crafts. You know those projects that you start and just somehow, someway they get pushed to the side for a few months until they start begging you to finish them.  This necklace is one of those projects.

I used black bottle caps, Epiphany Crafts' Shape Studio Tool Round 25 with skull and crossbone paper from an older My Mind's Eye Lost and Found Halloween 6x6 paper pad. I adhered the epoxy rounds in the bottlecaps with Glossy Accents.
The chain and black rhinestone chains are from Michael's and AC Moore.

It was a cloudy NJ day when I took these pics. The color is a little different then pictured. Since no one was around to model it, I took a selfie so you can all see what it looks like on.
Thanks for stopping by my blog!

  1. Kim, what a wonderfully creative necklace! My daughter in law would looove this. And you sew and crochet- such a talented person! :)

I'd love for you to bring any of your crafts to my party tomorrow- it's called Treasure Box Tuesday, and it starts at 6:00 a.m. Central Time (Yesterfood.blogspot.com). Are you eastern time? I think that would be 7:00 a.m. eastern time. Anyway, bring anything you'd like- our party is for recipes, crafts, DIY, photography, any of those types of things. :D Hope to see you!

  2. Oh wow, this looks awesome.
Bottles caps always seem to too useful to throw away, but I'm never sure what to do with them. This is a great idea.
