Crazy Skeleton Frame Card - Halloween Spooktacular Day 8!

Hi All!

As soon as I saw this skeleton frame in the Silhouette Online Store, I had to have it.  At first I wasn't sure what I wanted to use it on, but I thought it would make a cute card so I went with that.
I cut out the 'halloween crazy skeleton ornate frame by Jamie Koay' in black Bazzill Cardstock with my Cameo.  Then I cut out the same frame in chipboard and adhered the two together.  The ornate background nesting shapes were created using the frame and the offset feature in Silhouette Studio DE.  Then I adhered all layers together onto a white cardstock base.  The Trick Or Treat sentiment is a stamp by Punkin Patch Stamps.  Using my Cameo I cut out the stampable for the sentiment.  The stampable svg's used to be available on their website (Punkin Patch Stamps), but I'm not sure if they still are. I offset the green background too. The patterened cardstock is from 'Ghostly Greetings' pad by K and Company, which I've had in my stash for some time.

Halloween Spooktacular Day 7

For day 7, I created a fun tag using this cute candy corn stamp by Unity Stamp Company.
The stamp is a rubber stamp from Unity Stamp Company's Stamp of The Week.  I colored the candy corn in with Spectrum Noir markers.  The tag is from the Silhouette online store and was cut out with the Cameo. The ribbon is from my stash, I got it at the Target Dollar Spot a few years ago.

Happy Craftin!

Halloween Spooktacular Update!

Hi Everyone!

So as you can tell, I am behind on my Halloween Spooktacular Countdown. Tomorrow morning I will be taking photos of my projects. That means I will be posting Days 7, 8, and 9 tomorrow before the afternoon!  I am totally a night owl, which doesn't do well for photo taking.

Here's a sneak peek of Day 7:

See you tomorrow!

Skull and Crossbones Guitar Pick Charm - Halloween Spooktacular Day 6

Better late then never (again)!  Day 6 of my Halloween Spooktacular!

I created a skull and crossbones guitar pick charm for a simple necklace.  I totally wear this as is.  But for a girl that likes a little more pizazz you could add a rose charm or some bling.  Just add a thicker chain and it's perfect for a guy!
My apologies for my less then stellar picture, it's night time and that means no good lighting = no good pictures.

The guitar pick charm is by Vintaj, as is the green patina that I used on it.  The skull and crossbones was stamped on in Staz-On Jet Black Ink.  The stamp is from the "Speed Shop" stamp set by Bombshell Stamps.

"That Black Cat That Crossed Your Path, Wishes You Safe Travels" Card - Halloween Spooktacular Day 5!

Welcome to my Halloween Spooktacular Day 5!

I think today's post has the longest title in the history of my blog!  In honor of World Card Making Day I made a Halloween card for Day 5.
The black cat stamp is from Studio G.  It's one of those little dollar stamp sets that AC Moore usually sells.  I've had this cat stamp for a while.  The 'Safe Travels' sentiment is from the 'Life Is A Journey' set by Simon Says Stamps.  The Candy Corn and Chevron washi tapes are both by Doodlebug.  The bling is by Queen and Co.

What kind of card did you make for World Card Making Day?  Let me know in the comments below!

It's World Card Making Day!!!

To celebrate World Card Making Day, I created two cards.   My Halloween Spooktacular Day 5 post will be up later today so please be sure to come back!

My first card is a Hello Card. This card was created with Bombshell Stamps "Cherry Bomb" stamp set and colored with Copic markers.  I also used a ProvoCraft embossing folder and some older cardstock pads I have (DCWV Retro Mod and DCWV Neutral Textured Cardstock). The bling is by Queen and Co.

My second card is a CAS style card, which I have been trying to improve my skills on lately.  I used Bombshell Stamps "Dead Necessities" (roses) and "Tattoo Font" Stamp Sets and copic markers.  There are 2 layers of roses, with the top layer adhered with pop dots.  Love was stamped with Tattoo Font straight onto the card and I added some small bling underneath the V.

Embossed Cuff Bracelet with Skull Charm - Halloween Spooktacular! Day 4

Welcome to my Halloween Spooktacular Day 4!

Today I'm playing along with Unity Stamp Company's "Friends with Flair Friday".   I created an embossed cuff bracelet with a skull charm.
The skull stamp is from Unity Stamp Company's "Bones About Halloween" Set (which is a vintage co-branded set with Samantha Walker).  I also stamped part of the flourish stamp around the edges.  These were stamped with Staz-On ink.  I wanted the charm to have a more rustic, old feel to it so I buffed and sanded it a lot after it was finished. I painted the amethyst Vintaj patina so you can see the brush strokes.
I had a piece of scrap leather laying around in my craft room, so I cut it into a rectangle and embossed it in my Cuttlebug with a swirls embossing folder (ProvoCraft).  I used the de-bossed side on the front of the cuff, but as you can tell them embossing is slowly fading.  It was a really deep emboss when I first made this, but has faded over time.  I attached the charm with eyelets and added eyelets on the back to lace up the bracelet corset style with a thin leather rope.
I really can't wait to wear this out tonight! But, this cuff bracelet is great for Halloween or as part of a costume.  As most of you know me by now, I will definitely be wearing this year round.
