I finally finished my guitar gift bags that I have been wanting to make for a while. And after a crazy fight with my camera about it eating up all the batteries and then having to go out and buy some more in the middle of the photo shoot, the pictures have finally been taken. So, without further ado, please see below! (Warning: Picture heavy.)
A Rockin' Birthday!! |
These gift bags can fit a small gift. How awesome would it be to give concert tickets in one of these bags?! Jewelry would fit in it too. I love this card! This template is from SVG Cuts. There's a blank overlay in the kit so you can add your own word. I used the work ROCK (obviously) from SCAL3's font - Arial Black. This card folds flat to fit in an envelope (which is also included in the kit), just don't add pop dots to your card like I did to add dimension (to the polka dot layer) or it won't fit in the envelope! See below for the supplies I used. Cutter: ECraft Programs: MTC for basic shapes, SCAL3 for basic shapes and to cut For Guitar and Bass Guitar: SVGCuts Kits: Spring Birdhouses (gourd shape for guitar body) and Jamie's Favorite Things (Shield for headstock) MTC and SCAL3: Basic shapes for sound holes, neck, tuning knobs, pickup and bridge parts. (I started out making this in MTC but switched to SCAL3 which is why I used both programs) Patterned Cardstock: Echo Park - Happy Days Collection Plain Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Brads: Recollections from Michael's Star Brads: unknown Twine: Doodlebug Ink: Colorbox by Clearsnap Adhesives: Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive and Glue Dots For Card: SVGCuts Kits: Everyday Cards (Party Card) and Jamie's Favorite Things (Guitar Pick) Patterned Cardstock and Music Notes: Echo Park - Happy Days Collection Twine: Doodlebug Ink: Colorbox by Clearsnap Brads: Recollections from Michael's Adhesives: Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive and Glue Dots, Scotch ATG gun, Pop Dots Guitar Pick Garland: SVGCuts Kits: Jamie's Favorite Things (Guitar Pick) Patterned Cardstock: Echo Park - Happy Days Collection Ink: Colorbox by Clearsnap Twine: Doodlebug Adhesive: Glue Dots Patterned Tissue Paper: White Tissue Paper: unknown Stamps: We R Memory Keepers - music notes and stars Ink: Staz-On |
