Happy 2013!!!!

Happy New Year's Everyone!!!!

Besides today being the first day of 2013, Bombshell Stamps is also having a blog hop!  Woohoo! Fun times!

Ok, so you should have hopped on over here from Cassie's Blog.  If not, please do start at the beginning at the Bombshell Blog so you don't miss any awesome projects!   And please, pardon our hop's late appearance, since it was postponed from last month.  But honestly, I can't think of a better way to help ring in the New Year than with a Bombshell Blog Hop!!! =)

This month, our blog hop captain Alison has picked the theme of "make it a gift!"  And absolutely no cards, this month.  Easy for me, I do love making cards, but I do love crafting other things too.  So I decided to go DIGI!  Yep.  I made myself use a digi stamp and color it in with the computer.... No ink, (um, well no stamp ink) and no copics, no colored pencils.

I made a gift for a baby --- a baby onesie!

I opened up the Wild Horses Digital Stamp in Paint and then re-sized the horse and flowers to fit on the onesie.  I then used the paint bucket to fill (color) the image in different colors.  I printed it out using my printer onto some t-shirt transfer paper.  Once it was dry, I cut out the images with scissors.  (Note: I only had dark t-shirt transfer paper so there is white around the image, since I didn't trim to the outline.)  Then I ironed the horse and flowers onto the onesie using the manufacturer's directions.

Thanks for hopping along with us!  I hope you are inspired by the Bombshell's projects!  Please hop on over to Emily's Blog to see what gift she has created.

I hope you all have a happy, healthy and safe New Year!

- Kim
